|REASONS TO BE CHEERFUL
15 May 2014
Even those in remote villages in China must know about the hotel lift incident
that has been reported in the media ad nauseum.
Beyoncé’s sister, Solange, kicked, hit, punched, slapped – whatever you do
when you are very, very cross or expressing a desire to knock a self-obsessed,
self-promoting, self-deluded brother-in-law off his self-created pedestal.
Give it a little think – what would make a person that enraged? The persistent
rumours of JZ’s infidelity? His refusal to elevate that person to fame and
fortune? That person off her head?
Protecting his brand, JZ didn’t respond in kind, but clearly has in the past. A
few known examples: JZ shot and wounded his drug-addicted brother over a
stolen ring, was an admitted drug dealer, stabbed a guy in the back with a 9”
knife, slapped a camera carrying woman in the face and proved himself to be
the smarmy misogynist we all knew him to be. He sat next to 2 Live Crew’s
Luther Campbell for an interview with a topless woman performing oral sex on
top of another topless woman, while the two pathetic rappers laughed.
Wait, there’s more. Tax records show that of the $63m he earned in 2012 the
clearly generous JZ donated $6,431 or as he said himself: “My presence is
charity. Just who I am. Just like Obama’s is. Obama provides hope. Whether
he does anything, the hope that he provides for a nation, and outside of
America, is enough.” Really? What’s not to like about this $530 milioniare.
Adding a moment of linear reality: cancer sufferer 19 year old Stephen Sutton,
who raised more than £3.3 million for the Teenage Cancer Trust, has died this
morning. What’s to like about this guy. Everything. Really and truly.
Beyoncé smiled for the camera during the drama. A source said Solange’s
friends were name-dropping, acting as if they were guests – as you don’t do –
with Jay Z. At least Solange didn’t get blood on his white Givenchy tux. Now that
possibly would have upset him.
Apparently the media-fixated couple had had a row before the Met Ball they all
attended. The Hollywood Life site claims ‘the real reason’ Solange lashed out at
Jay Z: “Solange doesn’t like the way Jay Z controls Beyoncé. Beyoncé would
never speak up to him or defend herself, so Solange does it. Solange is not
afraid of him and is fed up with him calling all the shots in Beyoncé’s life.” Like
pimping the ‘bitch’, oops, the wife?
Another yawn for the fool Farage. Barbarians at the gates – vote UKIP. Oh
Even with the end of transitional controls 4,000 fewer Rumanian and Bulgarian
barbarians have queued up. What will Nige do? Nothing. With his party-unto-
himself shrieking a one note position against immigration, we were promised a
mass of invasion with a minimum of 50,000 of those skilled peasants queuing
up to take the jobs of the unskilled natives.
A UKIP election poster featured an image of a finger pointing out at the viewer
with the caption: ‘26m people in Europe are looking for work. And whose jobs
are they after?’
Prominent British Asian youth leader and tipped by Farage as a ‘rising star’,
Sanya-Jeet Thandi, who acted as chair of UKIP's London youth wing, has
announced that she is leaving UKIP because it has begun peddling a "form of
racist populism". Now there’s a surprise.
Thandi said: "The poster epitomises where the party is going wrong. This anti-
immigrant campaign undermines UKIP's claim not to be a racist party. They are
turning the election into a game of 'us' and 'them'. Well, I am with 'them'.
The direction in which the party is going is terrifying. UKIP has descended into
a form of racist populism that I cannot bring myself to vote for. This week I
decided to leave the party and I will abstain from voting in the upcoming
European elections. I urge other UKIP supporters to do the same.
UKIP is exploiting the stupidity of ignorant anti-immigrant voters for electoral
gain. While the party deliberately attracts the racist vote, I refuse to be
associated with them.”
With party members spouting racist, sexist remarks every other day they are
increasing their support. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
